F4L holds Leyte Football Festival & Light Up Tacloban Event
October 11 and October 12, 2014 were two days’ worth of football games because of Football for Life (F4L) Tacloban’s much-anticipated Leyte Football Festival. Football teams from around Region 8 and even newbie football players enrolled in the Football for Life Program went to the Leyte Sports Development Centre to join in the games.
ACIDLoop: Workshop on Resource Efficiency Measures Implementation
On November 22, a minor workshop on the implementation of resource efficiency measures was conducted in the AIMA Hall in Ambattur, Chennai. This event aimed to present the various measures implemented and the savings realized by the project participants from other regions to hasten the implementation in other participating units from the southern region.
i2Can holds its 7th event at Chennai Corporation High School
The Social Actions Team in ASSIST India Office held the 7th I2Can: Inspiring and Igniting Creativity among Young People event last November 11. This event was held at the Chennai Corporation High School in Chennai. The purpose of the event was to create awareness on healthcare, road safety, disaster management and mitigation among the student community.

The Indian Toilet Summit, held last November 19, was a collaboration of policy makers, researchers, non-profit and corporate organizations to discuss and share best practices in sanitation sector in order to reach the aim of Open Defecation Free India as a contribution to the new venture of Swatchh Bharat by the Prime Minister of India which was organized by Research and Sustainable Development Consortium.
